A returning feature which was omitted since the original Ultimate Ninja Storm is the ability to Wall Run. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 features gameplay akin to that of previous games in the series, in which players battle each other in 3D arenas. The game received generally positive reviews, with much praise going to the game's narrative and graphics. The expansion version is entitled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto and this version is under development to be compiled with three other titles in the series as Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy, released August 25, 2017. Developed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a two year development schedule took place. It is the sequel to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
